Founder and CEO

Working in the industry since 1978, Frank left Corporate Express Delivery Systems, Inc. to start U.S. Messenger & Logistics, Inc. with partner Norm Nied during April of 1999. He is still active in the leadership of the company. Frank lives in the western suburbs with his wife Diane. They have four children and three grandchildren.

Founder

Norm worked in the same-day delivery industry most of his adult life. Starting as a driver, he quickly rose through the ranks driven by a strong desire for excellent customer service. Together with partner Frank Gonzales, they started U.S. Messenger & Logistics, Inc. in April of 1999. Over the years, he was quite proud of the company and the people that worked for it.

Chief Customer & Business Development Officer

Ron has worked in the industry since he was old enough to walk. His family has owned and operated several same day delivery service businesses for decades, and he has taken part of every aspect of the business. While serving our nation in the armed forces, Ron was a logistics officer. He is currently responsible for directing USML to new heights in Logistics Services. He lives in Wheaton with his wife Mischa and their daughter Noa.

Chief Technology Officer

As our Chief Technology Officer, Marcia is responsible for all of US Messenger’s daily and long-term technology needs. She has over 40 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. Throughout her career, she has held a wide variety of managerial and consulting positions in large corporations throughout the United States, as well as owning her own technology consulting company.

Chief Financial Officer

As our CFO, Mike is responsible for all of US Messenger’s financial and cash management needs. Mike has over 30 years of financial management and accounting experience and has held senior level accounting and financial positions within the transportation, marketing and financial services industries. Mike and his wife live in the far southwestern suburbs.

Operations Manager of Route Services

Evelyn has worked in this industry for over 40 years, with over 30 years in management and supervisory positions. She has excelled at her career, from Dispatch through Route Operations, for several large same day courier companies in Chicago. She currently is the Operations Manager of Route Services for USML.

Operations Manager of On-Demand Services

Gerry has worked in the business for over 35 years in several operational positions, including driver, dispatcher, and dispatch manager. He took a hiatus to run his own successful businesses, which he eventually sold. He rejoined our team in 2005 and is now responsible for On-Demand Deliveries as On-Demand Operations Manager. He lives in the western suburbs with his wife Lonnie.

Operations Manager of Logistics Services

Tony serves USML as Operations Manager of Logistics Services. He is responsible for our Intercept Courier group with over 30 programs in Downtown Chicago. He has worked in our industry with several companies for over 40 years. He lives in the western suburbs with his wife and one of his two children.

Customer Service Manager

With over 35 years of experience in the courier industry, Landers brings a deep understanding of customer service and logistics to his role at US Messenger as Customer Service Manager. Known for his commitment to problem-solving, clear communication, and team development, Landers leads with both experience and empathy, ensuring clients receive dependable and responsive service every step of the way. He currently lives in the western suburbs of Chicago.

Cynthia Dunning

Human Resources Manager

Cynthia is our Human Resources Specialist, overseeing the day-to-day internal operations of USML. She has over 30 years of experience in various aspects of the delivery business with several of the largest companies in the business in Chicagoland. She lives in the western suburbs.

President and CEO

Bringing 18 years of full-time experience in the industry. A graduate of Robert Morris University, Daniel began his career as a Customer Service Representative before gaining hands-on expertise across Warehousing, Information Technology, and Accounting & Receivables. His well-rounded background laid the foundation for his leadership roles, including serving as General Manager overseeing all supply chain and support operations.
Today, as President and CEO, Daniel leads the organization with a focus on creative innovations and solutions, growth, and client success. He lives in the western suburbs with his wife, Martyna and our Good Feels Manager, Sadie.

Good Feels Manager

Sadie is a mini-golden doodle who just turned 5 – she has been coming to the office since she was 10 weeks old and helps with all departments from HR, warehousing and dispatching.
